Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse / ODP – Hip & Knee Surgery

Location: Private hospital - Bath

Contract: Temporary / Agency Shifts

RTC Resources is recruiting experienced Orthopaedic Scrub Nurses and ODPs to support hip and knee surgery lists at a private hospital in Bath.

We are looking for confident scrub practitioners with recent experience in major lower-limb orthopaedics, particularly total hip and knee replacements.

The role

• Prepare the theatre, instruments and equipment for orthopaedic procedures.
• Provide skilled scrub support during hip and knee replacement surgery.
• Anticipate surgical

requirements and handle instruments and implants safely.

• Maintain the sterile field and complete surgical counts and documentation.
• Work closely with the theatre team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• Current NMC registration as a nurse or HCPC registration as an ODP.
• Recent scrub experience in hip and knee replacement surgery.
• Good knowledge of orthopaedic instruments and implant systems.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Right to work in the UK and satisfactory recruitment compliance checks.
