Legal Counsel - Mining
Clinical Role Overview
Global industry leader in the mining and energy sector is looking for a Legal Counsel to join their team on an initial contract basis with potential to go permanent.
Hybrid working, central London location.
You will have a broad remit of responsibilities supporting their mining operations including:
- commercial contract drafting and negotiation including operational and project related agreements
- corporate and finance support on transactions
- working closely with the procurement and construction teams providing legal and commercial advice
- advising on litigation, risk management and general legal matters
- instructing external counsel when required
You will be 2+ years PQE as a guide preferably with training and experience gained in a mining and energy team in private practice. Relevant in-house experience in a similar environment would be advantageous.
