Territory Account Manager

Our client works with local councils and schools across the country in providing a range of sports, adventure, and play facilities; with a turnover north of £15M, they are a market leader in the space.

Working with clients across all stages of the design, manufacturing and installation process, our client is driven by customer satisfaction. They are seeking a Territory Account Manager to uphold their fantastic reputation whilst building relationships with new and existing customers across the territory.

This is a field based role covering Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside, Shropshire and Staffordshire.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing sales strategies for the assigned territory to achieve revenues and exceed targets
• Identify potential new customers (local authorities, councils, education)
• Creating and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers; identifying their needs and providing solutions to ensure satisfaction and retention
• Stay on top of current market trends and analyse competitor activity; develop sales plans that respond to any changes accordingly
• Complete regular sales reporting on performance, trends, and customer feedback; deliver to senior management as required
• Collaborate with other internal teams to ensure effective and efficient operations across whole company

The Successful Candidate

• 2+ years sales experience; formal sales training would be a plus
• Proven track record in exceeding targets
• Must have a full, clean driving license
• Experience selling to local authorities or the education sectors would be a plus
• Field sales / Territory sales / Area Sales / Regional Sales experience is a plus
