We are currently seeking an experienced Locum Speech and Language Therapist to support a specialist independent day school in Chigwell, Essex.

The school provides education and therapeutic support for children and young people with a primary diagnosis of autism, as well as those who are on the autism pathway. The setting offers a nurturing and motivating environment, with a strong focus on supporting each individual to achieve their academic, social and emotional potential.

Duration: Through to Summer 2027

Setting: Independent specialist day school

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to work within a specialist educational and therapeutic environment, supporting children and young people with a range of communication and additional needs.

The successful clinician will work collaboratively with education and therapy professionals to support the development of communication skills and help individuals engage successfully in their learning and everyday lives.

Requirements

Autism and neurodiversity

Speech, language and communication needs

Children and young people with additional and complex needs
