Senior Therapeutic Carer

Location: Brighton

Salary: £28,185 – £29,567 per annum

Hours: 40 hours per week, shift work

We are looking for experienced Senior Therapeutic Carers to join a specialist therapeutic children's home.

The role involves providing high-quality, trauma-informed care to children and young people, supporting their emotional development and wellbeing while helping to maintain a safe and nurturing environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Providing therapeutic and relationship-based care

• Leading shifts and supporting the day-to-day running of the home

• Supporting and mentoring colleagues

• Promoting safeguarding and positive outcomes for children

• Building positive relationships with children, families and professionals

• Maintaining accurate care records

• Supporting the management team with the effective running of the home

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a children's residential setting

• Experience in a senior or leadership role

• A strong understanding of safeguarding and therapeutic childcare

• Passion for supporting children and young people
