Behaviour Support Worker - Sports Coaches Desired

As a Behaviour Support Worker, you will:

Support students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.

Build positive and trusting relationships with young people.

Support students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and behavioural challenges.

Help manage and de-escalate difficult situations using positive behaviour strategies.

Work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to support student development.

Promote confidence, resilience, and emotional wellbeing.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will have experience in one or more of the following:

Sports coaching

Youth work

Behaviour mentoring

Learning support

Residential childcare

Teaching assistance

Alternative Provision or PRU settings

SEMH or SEND environments

Requirements

Experience working with children or young people.

Strong behaviour management and communication skills.

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Right to work in the UK.

Two professional references covering the last two years.
