Are you an experienced Deputy Manager looking for a senior leadership role within a high-quality elderly care home?

We’re recruiting for a Deputy Manager to join a luxury 62-bed residential care home near Aylesbury. The home is rated Good by CQC and has achieved an exceptional 10/10 review score on (url removed).

Working closely with an experienced Registered Manager, you’ll have real responsibility for the day-to-day running of the home, leading the care team, maintaining excellent standards and helping to drive continuous improvement.

The Role

As Deputy Manager, you’ll support the Registered Manager with the operational leadership of the home while ensuring residents continue to receive exceptional, person-centred care.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting the day-to-day management of the 62-bed home

Leading, motivating and developing the care team

Maintaining strong CQC compliance and quality standards

Overseeing audits, governance and continuous improvement

Supporting care planning, assessments and resident wellbeing

Building strong relationships with residents, relatives and healthcare professionals

Promoting a positive, supportive and high-performing culture

About You

We’re looking for an established Deputy Manager with:

Previous management experience within an elderly residential or nursing home

Strong experience leading and developing care teams

A good understanding of CQC regulations and quality standards

Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills

A genuine commitment to delivering outstanding person-centred care

An active NMC PIN would be advantageous, although experienced non-nurse managers with a strong elderly care background are equally encouraged to apply.
