The Role As a Community Chemotherapy Nurse, you will:

Deliver chemotherapy treatments safely within patients' homes across Milton Keynes.

Complete comprehensive clinical assessments before and during treatment

Administer IV chemotherapy and undertake cannulation and phlebotomy

Monitor patients throughout treatment and respond appropriately to adverse reactions

Manage your own patient caseload and plan your working day effectively

Build strong relationships with patients, families and the wider multidisciplinary team

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure the highest standards of patient safety and careAbout You To be successful in this role, you'll have:

Registered Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC registration

Experience administering chemotherapy within a hospital or community setting

SACT Passport or recognised chemotherapy qualification preferred

Competency in IV therapy, cannulation and phlebotomy

Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills

Confidence working autonomously in the community
