Are you an experienced Head of Recruitment or Recruitment Manager with a background in complex care, community care, supported living or children’s residential services?

We are recruiting for a senior recruitment leader to take ownership of the internal Talent Acquisition function across a growing healthcare and social care group.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands regulated care recruitment, can lead a team, build strong talent pipelines and deliver both high-volume and senior-level hiring.

Lead and develop a growing internal recruitment teamThe RoleAs Head of Recruitment, you will lead the Group-wide recruitment function across complex care, supported living, community care, CAMHS and children’s residential services.

You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, lead senior and hard-to-fill appointments, build proactive talent pipelines and work closely with senior leaders on current and future workforce requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop the internal recruitment team

Oversee recruitment across multiple regulated care services

Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from attraction to start date

Build candidate pipelines through direct sourcing and headhunting

Recruit across care, nursing, clinical and management roles

Lead recruitment campaigns and service mobilisation hiring

Ensure safer recruitment, safeguarding, CQC and Ofsted standards are met

Manage job boards, agencies, budgets and supplier relationships

Monitor KPIs including time to hire, cost per hire and retention

Provide recruitment MI and market insight to senior leadershipAbout You

To be considered for this Head of Recruitment opportunity, you will ideally have:

Current or recent experience as a Recruitment Manager, Talent Acquisition Manager, Internal Recruitment Lead or senior recruitment leader

Recruitment experience within complex care, community care, supported living, children’s residential care or domiciliary care

Experience leading and developing recruitment teams

Strong direct sourcing and headhunting capability

Experience recruiting across multiple locations

Knowledge of safer recruitment, safeguarding, CQC and/or Ofsted

Experience with both high-volume recruitment and senior appointments

Strong stakeholder management and workforce planning experience

Commercial awareness across agencies, job boards and recruitment spend

Experience using ATS platforms and LinkedInThis opportunity would suit an experienced Recruitment Manager or Head of Recruitment who already understands the challenges of recruiting within regulated healthcare and social care services.
