Salary: £13.61 per hour

Hours: 27 hours per week

Contract: Permanent following successful completion of an initial trial period

Standon House Care Home is looking for a caring and reliable Night Care Assistant to join our dedicated team.

You'll support our residents throughout the night, helping them feel safe, comfortable and well cared for while promoting their dignity, independence and choice.

What you'll be doing

• You'll provide person-centred care and support throughout the night, including:
• Personal care and hygiene
• Supporting with medication in line with training and care plans
• Supporting residents living with dementia
• Monitoring residents and responding to their needs
• Maintaining care records and documentation
• Providing reassurance, companionship and practical support
• Working as part of a supportive night team

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who is caring, reliable, trustworthy and a good communicator. You’ll need to be comfortable working nights, weekends and bank holidays.

Previous care experience is preferred, but full training will be provided, so we're happy to hear from people looking to start a career in care.

What we offer

You'll receive full training and ongoing support, with opportunities to work towards recognised qualifications including the Care Certificate and NVQ Levels 2 & 3.
