Clinical Screening Team Leader - Registered Nurse

Our client is currently looking for a Clinical Screening Team Leader - Registered Nurse to join them on a permanent basis. As the Clinical Screening Team Leader - Registered Nurse you will support the candidates in their journey to joining the Army. You will oversee the delivery of medical assessments in a professional, supportive and candidate focusses environment.

Role: Clinical Screening Team Leader - Registered Nurse

Location: Westbury

Hours: Full Time - Monday to Friday 09:00-17:30

Salary: £43,000

Responsibilities:

Leading and overseeing the delivery of medical screening activities.

Managing and developing medical screening staff, supporting training, auditing and professional development.

Conducting and reviewing clinical assessments and medical tests, ensuring accurate outcomes and appropriate decision-making.

Providing clinical expertise and advice, liaising with doctors and healthcare professionals as required.

Maintaining high standards of clinical governance, patient care, infection control and safe working practices.

Coordinating medical resources, equipment and clinic operations to ensure smooth day-to-day delivery.

Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications

Registered Nurse (NMC) with no restrictions, sanctions or pending hearings.

Experience within health screening, occupational health, primary care, military healthcare or another clinical assessment environment.

An understanding of clinical testing equipment

Excellent communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues, doctors and healthcare professionals

Ability to prioritise workload, make sound clinical decisions and work both independently and as part of a team.

Competent user of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel.
