Children’s Support Workers

We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated Children’s Support Workers to join our team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people, providing high-quality care and emotional support in a safe, nurturing environment.

We are currently recruiting for 3 Children's homes: Exeter, Crediton and Bodmin

As a Children’s Support Worker, you will play a key role in promoting the emotional well-being, independence, and rights of the young people in your care. Working as part of a supportive team, you will help ensure that every child feels safe, respected, and empowered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering consistent, high-quality care in line with individual care plans
• Supporting the emotional, behavioural, and social development of young people
• Helping young people make informed choices and develop life skills
• Maintaining a safe, structured, and non-judgemental environment

Shift Pattern:

• 7:30am - 10pm
• 2-3 Shifts Per Week
• Sleep-in rota every other weekend (£70 per sleep)

Requirements:

• A minimum of 6 months experience working with children or young people in a similar setting
• A full UK driving licence
• A calm, committed, compassionate, and empathetic nature
• A proactive and resilient approach with a strong “can-do” attitude

Please note: The successful applicant will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check as part of our rigorous safeguarding process.
