Youth Support Worker

10:00am-10:00pm Shifts + Sleep-Ins Available

Rotherwood Cares are currently recruiting experienced Youth Support Workers to support young people aged 16-18 within a supported accommodation service in Kirkby.

This service supports 3 young people, helping them develop independence, confidence and essential life skills as they prepare for adulthood.

The Role:

• Providing practical and emotional support to young people
• Encouraging independence and positive decision-making
• Supporting with daily living skills and routines
• Promoting wellbeing, safeguarding and positive outcomes
• Building professional and positive relationships
• Completing support notes and handovers

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with young people, supported accommodation, residential childcare or care settings
• Knowledge of safeguarding and professional boundaries
• A compassionate, resilient and reliable approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service preferred
