As a Mammographer at our hospital, you’ll have a BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent), be registered with the HCPC, and have a Mammography postgraduate qualification and high levels of technical knowledge. Ideally, you’ll have more than 2 years’ experience and also have the ability to work accurately and compassionately.

Responsibilities

• See each patient as an individual, offering understanding and empathy
• Deliver a high-quality mammography service supporting the breast clinic as well as the breast screening service.
• Work with leading practitioners and cutting-edge practices, equipment and facilities.
• Supervise and develop junior colleagues
• Ensure a service of the highest quality is delivered with sensitivity and compassion

Our successful, purpose-built hospital deals with complex surgery and a vast range of specialities involving some 300 consultants. There are 80 bedrooms, an 8 bed Level 3 critical care unit and 6 theatres (2 Stryker laparoscopic and 2 laminar flow). We are close to the city centre and central railway station.
