Our client is seeking an experienced Solar Sales Consultant to join their growing team. The company has built an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality solar PV and battery storage solutions, outstanding customer service and reliable aftercare.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious sales professional with strong renewable energy knowledge to benefit from pre-arranged customer appointments, excellent earning potential and ongoing support.

You'll meet homeowners, conduct technical surveys, recommend tailored solar and battery storage solutions and guide customers through the sales process.

Key Responsibilities

Attend pre-arranged customer appointments, typically 2–3 per day.

Conduct in-home technical surveys to assess suitability for solar PV and battery storage installations.

Present tailored renewable energy solutions and convert enquiries into sales.

Build strong customer relationships through a professional, consultative sales approach.

Maintain accurate sales records, complete follow-up calls and manage customer communications.

Follow company sales procedures while maintaining excellent customer service standards.

Essential

Requirements

Proven sales experience with a strong track record of achieving targets, ideally within solar or renewable energy.

Good technical understanding of solar PV and battery storage systems.

Ability to conduct property surveys and confidently explain technical solutions to homeowners.

Excellent communication, negotiation and customer service skills.

Computer literate, organised and comfortable using sales software.

Reliable transport and willingness to travel across the designated territory.

Ability to complete a minimum of 48 in-home appointments per month.

Verifiable references demonstrating previous sales performance and experience.

Desirable Experience

Previous experience selling solar PV, battery storage or other renewable energy products directly to homeowners would be particularly advantageous.

Training & Support

Successful candidates will attend a comprehensive one-week induction programme at the company's Head Office in High Wycombe.

Training covers product knowledge, sales systems, technical surveying, company procedures and customer service standards.

You'll also receive a company uniform, tablet, survey toolkit and ongoing support to help you succeed.

Salary & Benefits

£25,000 basic salary with commission and OTE of £115,000.

Pre-arranged customer appointments and established lead generation.

Location & Working Pattern

The role covers the South, South East and Midlands, with candidates ideally based within a 30-minute drive of High Wycombe.
