Community Care Assistant – Make a Real Impact!

Key Information

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

Experience: No experience needed – full training + shadowing provided

Hours: Flexible part-time Evenings & Weekends

Evenings & Weekend Work: Weekend availability required (flexible rota)

Mileage options:

Mileage Rate: Higher hourly pay + claim mileage separately via HMRC

Non-Mileage Rate: Slightly lower pay + mileage paid through payroll

What You'll Be Doing

• As a Community Care Assistant, you’ll make a real difference in people’s lives by:
• Providing person‑centred home care
• Supporting with meals, medication, and daily tasks
• Offering companionship & emotional support
• Helping with appointments, shopping & social outings
• Promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing
• Supporting male and female clients with personal care (this can include but is not limited to: Bathing, toileting, dressing, feeding, etc)
