Real Estate Dispute Resolution Litigator - East London

This well run solicitors firm is seeking a Commercial Property Litigator to join their department and manage a varied caseload of 45 - 50 files. The clients will be a mix of offices, retail, hotels and restaurants, and investment residential property portfolios.

We are seeking a litigator, with experience to negotiating and reaching settlement, as well as dealing with claims, debt recovery and court hearings across matters to include:

• Contentious issues related to land transactions and real estate disputes
• Handling commercial landlord and tenant matters
• Lease renewals, dilapidations, service charges and rent reviews
• Enforcing covenants from both tenants' and landlords' perspectives
• Representing clients in negotiations, mediations and court proceedings
• Drafting legal documents, pleadings, witness statements and settlement agreements
• Meeting clients offering advice and support
• Collaborating with colleagues and external stakeholders
