Cla1 Pa/Support Worker
Clinical Role Overview
We are looking for a fun-loving, reliable and patient Personal Assistant/Carer to support CLA1, a 16-year-old girl living in Teddington.
The role will involve supporting her to take part in activities at home and in the community, such as playing in the park, painting, dancing and drawing. CLA1 is non-verbal and has some difficulties with social interaction, which can sometimes lead to frustration. The carer will therefore need to have a patient and cheerful disposition.
Experience supporting children with additional needs, particularly with communication and social interaction, would be beneficial but is not essential.
Some support with toileting will also be required.
Additional training is available to reinforce methods used at school.
