Customer Service Advisor

As a Customer Service Advisor in the Services Team, based in Leighton Buzzard, you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations in the transport and distribution industry. Your main focus will be supporting customers by handling queries, resolving issues, and maintaining excellent service standards.

Our client is a well-established international organisation operating within a specialist and highly regulated industry. Working with customers across Europe, Asia and North America, they provide essential products and services that support global supply chains and critical business operations.

This role sits within the Customer Support function, working as part of a small, collaborative team responsible for managing customer orders, coordinating with internal stakeholders and delivering a high level of service to customers across multiple international markets.

Description

Respond to customer enquiries promptly and professionally via phone and email.

Provide accurate information and solutions to customer issues or concerns.

Maintain up-to-date records of customer interactions in the system.

Collaborate with internal teams to resolve service-related challenges.

Monitor and track service requests to ensure timely completion.

Proactively identify and report recurring issues to improve processes.

Support the Services Team with administrative tasks as needed.

Deliver exceptional customer service to maintain strong client relationships.Profile

A successful Customer Service Advisor should have:

Previous experience within a customer service, order processing or administrative role.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.

Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

SAP or ERP system experience

Confident communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.

Proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment.

Experience using Microsoft Office and order processing systems.

Job Offer

Permanent position based in Leighton Buzzard.

26 days' annual leave, plus bank holidays.

Hybrid Working.
