Year 1 Primary Teacher – East London – ASAP Start

· Year 1 Primary Teacher to join our mainstream primary school

· Year 1 Primary Teacher to take full classroom responsibility for a Year 1 class

· Year 1 Primary Teacher with strong knowledge of the KS1 national curriculum

· Year 1 Primary Teacher must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

· Year 1 Primary Teacher must be able to commit to long-term and full-time hours

· Year 1 Primary Teacher with previous experience teaching within a primary school setting

· Year 1 Primary Teacher must have strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills

The Role – Year 1 Primary Teacher

Think Education are looking for a dedicated, hardworking, reliable and experienced Year 1 Primary Teacher to join our primary school in East London on a long-term, full-time basis. The role of the Year 1 Primary Teacher will consist of taking full classroom responsibility, planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the national primary curriculum and ensuring pupils make consistent academic progress. As a Year 1 Primary Teacher, you will need to have strong knowledge of phonics, early literacy and numeracy, alongside the ability to differentiate lessons to support pupils of varying abilities. You will also be responsible for maintaining positive behaviour, assessing pupil progress and creating a stimulating classroom environment that encourages independence, confidence and a love of learning.
