Electrician – Testing & Inspection

Central London 8:00am–4:30pm

Join Polyteck Building Services and work across high-profile client sites throughout Central London. We're looking for an experienced Electrician to carry out electrical installation, maintenance, fault finding, inspection, testing and commissioning.

This is a varied site-based role suited to an electrician who takes pride in their workmanship, can work independently and is comfortable representing the business directly with clients.

What you'll be doing

• Electrical installation, maintenance and remedial works
• 1st and 2nd fix electrical work
• Fault finding and diagnosis
• Inspection, testing and commissioning
• Reactive callouts
• Completing electrical reports, job sheets and certification
• Maintaining accurate site logbooks and records
• Coordinating materials and equipment with the Electrical Operations Manager
• Working safely in accordance with RAMS and Health & Safety

requirements

• Liaising professionally with clients, tenants and site representatives
• Supporting apprentices and other engineers where required

What we're looking for

Essential

• 18th Edition Electrical Qualification
• Proven on-site electrical installation and maintenance experience
• Strong 1st and 2nd fix experience
• Good fault-finding ability
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Right to work in the UK

Desirable

• City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent Inspection & Testing qualification
• Experience of electrical testing and commissioning
• Commercial/building-services maintenance experience
• Full UK driving licence
