Job Title: Health and Safety / Fire Risk Consultant

Location: Rochdale, Greater Manchester

Salary/Benefits: £30k - £55k + Training & Benefits

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established Compliance / Safety specialist, who have a national presence. They are seeking a highly knowledgeable and qualified Health and Safety / Fire Risk Consultant, who is able to efficiently articulate technical matters directly to clients.

Experience / Qualifications:

• Strong track record working as a Health and Safety / Fire Risk Consultant
• Will ideally hold: NEBOSH General, NEBOSH Fire, Level 4 Fire Risk Diploma, Level 3 in Fire Risk Assessing, CMIOSH and / or IFE
• Excellent industry technical knowledge
• Adaptable to client travel

• Strong literacy, numeracy and IT skills
• Professional manner
• Experience working across a range of client premises

The Role:

• Conducting thorough health and safety audits across client sites
• Performing fire risk assessments and COSHH assesssments
• Accident and near-miss investigations
• Reviewing existing safety plans and making amendments where necessary
• Implementing new health and safety management systems on client sites
• Providing detailed technical advice to clients and answering any queries
• Delivering health and safety / fire safety training courses for clients
• Working to personal and company targets
• Maintaining strong working relationships with clients
