Home Care Assistant

Luxuricare is a CQC-registered home care provider based at Bretby Business Park, supporting people to live safely and independently in their own homes across Burton upon Trent, Swadlincote and the surrounding villages. We're looking for experienced Home Care Assistants who can start soon.

WHAT YOU'LL EARN

• £16.00 per hour standard rate

• £32.00 per hour (double time) on ALL bank holidays, including Christmas Day and New Year

• 35p per business mile for travel between calls

• Workplace pension

• Uniform provided

• Ongoing training and development

YOUR ROTA

Regular carers work a repeating two-week pattern - around 3.5 days a week:

• Week 1: Tuesday all day, Friday teatime & bedtime calls, Saturday all day, Sunday all day

• Week 2: Monday all day, Wednesday all day, Thursday all day, Friday daytime calls

This is a zero-hours contract.

Prefer flexibility? We also welcome bank carers. Give us your availability around 2 weeks in advance and we'll confirm the work we can offer (hours not guaranteed).

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Visit clients in their own homes across Burton, Swadlincote and nearby villages

• Support with personal care - washing, bathing, dressing, morning and evening routines

• Help with medication, meals and drinks

• Offer companionship and help people stay independent

• Keep clear, accurate care records

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Previous care experience (home care or residential)

• Full UK driving licence (essential - you'll travel between calls)

• Your own vehicle with business-use motor insurance (essential)

• Willing to complete an Enhanced DBS check, including the Adults' Barred List

• Kind, reliable and a good communicator
