Salary: £50,000 - £70,000

Location: Midlands (Flexible Base) - UK-Wide Travel Required

Responsibilities

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Pre-Commission Flushing Engineer to join a growing and well-respected specialist engineering business. Working on commercial projects across the UK,

you will be responsible for carrying out pre-commission cleaning and flushing of closed heating and chilled water systems.

Key duties include

Pre-commission flushing and cleaning of closed systems

Back flushing, system cleansing, and chemical dosing

Operating flushing rigs, pumps, and filtration equipment

Conducting on-site water testing and sampling

Supporting system preparation ahead of commissioning

Completing accurate reports and documentation

Ensuring compliance with health & safety procedures and industry standards

Collaborating with clients, contractors, and commissioning engineers on-siteEssential requirements

Experience in flushing and pre-commission cleaning

Knowledge of BG29 and BG50 guidelines

Understanding of COSHH and chemical handling procedures

Strong communication and organisational skills

Full UK driving licence
