Job Description

We are seeking experienced Carpenters for Kitchen and Bathroom renewal projects within the social housing sector across Stevenage . This role is ideal for self-employed carpenters looking for steady, long-term work on a well-organised programme in occupied properties.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Kitchen fitting and Bathroom carpentry works
• Installing Kitchen units (approx. 6-12 units per day)
• Fitting worktops and worksurfaces
• Installing fire doors (door only, no frame)
• Upgrading door hinges and handles
• Installing architraves and skirting
• Installing bath frames and bath panels
• Installing plywood and wooden boxing
• Building stud walls
• Working alongside other trades to meet programme targets

Qualifications

• CSCS card
• Experience in domestic/social housing
• NVQ Level 2 (preferred)
• Basic H&S certifications (especially asbestos awareness)
