Nightshift Manufacturing Operative

Location: Desborough, Northamptonshire

Shift Pattern: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM, Monday Night to Saturday Morning

Pay Rate: £14.66 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Nightshift Manufacturing Operative to join our client's production team in Desborough.

This is a critical role focused on ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality production of manufactured products within a busy manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery and equipment in line with standard operating procedures.

Feed materials into machines and monitor production processes to achieve daily output targets.

Carry out regular quality inspections to identify and report defects, ensuring products meet required standards.

Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment at all times.

Follow all Health & Safety procedures and wear the appropriate PPE.

Report machinery faults, breakdowns, or operational issues to the Shift Supervisor promptly.

Complete production records, quality documentation, and shift handover information accurately.

Essential Skills & Experience

Previous experience within a manufacturing, production, machine operating, or machine minding environment is highly desirable.

Ability to work a fixed night shift pattern consistently.

Strong work ethic with excellent reliability and punctuality.

Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods and undertake manual handling duties.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
