Mechanical Supervisor Opportunity – Hospital Project

We are recruiting a Mechanical Supervisor to join a Tier 1 M&E contractor delivering the full MEP package on a large-scale hospital project in Tolworth.

This opportunity offers at least 12 months on the project, with a strong pipeline of London work providing opportunities to move onto further schemes. Both permanent and freelance applicants will be considered, with excellent salaries or day rates available.

The Role

Reporting to the mechanical management team, you will oversee mechanical installation works, ensuring delivery meets programme, quality and health and safety

requirements.

Responsibilities include:

Supervising mechanical subcontractors and site operatives.

Coordinating daily activities and monitoring progress against the programme.

Ensuring installations comply with drawings, specifications and quality standards.

Coordinating with electrical, construction and other trade teams.

Completing site inspections, quality checks and snagging.

Maintaining site records and reporting progress or delivery issues.

Supporting testing, commissioning and handover activities.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Mechanical Supervisor on commercial, healthcare or similarly complex projects.

Strong knowledge of mechanical building services installations.

Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating site teams.

Ability to interpret technical drawings and manage installation quality.

Relevant mechanical qualifications and appropriate site safety certification.

Healthcare project experience would be advantageous.
