Location: Brigg

Salary: £45,538

Working Hours: Monday to Friday rotating shifts Mornings and Afternoons, but with no Weekends or Nights

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join the team. This role is predominantly reactive maintenance, with additional involvement in PPM and project work and Set Ups/Product Changeovers. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of production lines and contributing to continuous improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct reactive maintenance to ensure minimal downtime across production lines.

Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks to enhance equipment reliability.

Support and deliver engineering projects aimed at process and efficiency improvements.

Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults across the site’s advanced machinery.

Work with robotics, casers, check weighers, fillers, conveyors, and other packaging equipment.

Collaborate with the engineering team and other departments to ensure smooth production processes.

Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge. Key

Requirements

Time-served or formally qualified in a relevant engineering discipline ( Electrical or Multi-Skilled).

Must be truly multi-skilled and be able to fault find both Electrically and Mechanically

Ideally have 17th or 18th Edition

Experience in a manufacturing, FMCG, or similar fast-paced environment.

Strong team player with a proactive and adaptable approach.

Willingness to develop skills further through training and upskilling opportunities

Any previous exposure to Packaging, Packing or Bagging equipment would be advantageous Why Join?
