Class 2 Driver

Driver Hire Gatwick is looking for a Class 2 Driver to join our team and work with one of our long-established clients based in Crawley.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Class 2 Driver seeking ongoing, full-time work with a reputable company delivering quality linen products to restaurants, hotels, and hospitality venues.

As a Class 2 Driver, you will work Monday to Friday, covering routes across London, the South West, and surrounding areas. This role offers a stable schedule, competitive pay, and a professional working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete up to 15-20 deliveries per day as a Class 2 Driver (depending on route distance).
• Work Monday to Friday with start times between 04:30 and 08:00.
• Ensure full compliance with driving legislation and company procedures.
• Complete and distribute all delivery paperwork accurately.
• Carry out daily vehicle inspections and safety checks.
• Safely load, secure, and unload goods at customer sites.
• Represent the company professionally when dealing with customers.

Requirements

To be considered for this Class 2 Driver position, you must have:

• A valid UK driving licence with Class 2 Driver (Category C) entitlement.
• Valid CPC qualification card and digital tachograph card.
• At least one year's recent experience as a Class 2 Driver.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no major endorsements or convictions (CD, IN, DR, TT).
• Good geographical knowledge and navigation skills.
• The right to work in the UK.
• Residence within 15 miles of Crawley.
