ABOUT THE BUSINESS:

A well-established and growing provider of IT infrastructure and managed services is seeking a Network Engineer to support its secure data centre operations. The business delivers end-to-end technical solutions across a wide range of sectors, with a strong emphasis on reliability, security, and performance. Due to continued growth and investment in next-generation infrastructure, they are expanding their engineering team to support both day-to-day operations and ongoing projects.

THE NETWORK ENGINEER OPPORTUNITY:

• Provide network and firewall support within a secure data centre environment
• Troubleshoot hardware, connectivity, and bandwidth issues escalated from the service desk
• Monitor network performance using industry-standard monitoring tools
• Support installation and deployment of new equipment as part of upgrade and project work
• Manage and update tickets via the service management system, ensuring SLA adherence
• Participate in an on-call rota supporting a 24/7 service environment

YOUR KEY SKILLS:

• Proven experience in a Network Support or Network Engineer role
• Strong knowledge of networking technologies, including switching and firewalls
• Experience troubleshooting and managing network infrastructure in a data centre or enterprise environment
• Understanding of network monitoring tools
• Cisco CCNA (or equivalent experience) is essential; higher certifications are desirable
• Experience with VPNs, firewall configuration, and network security principles
• Eligibility for SC Clearance is essential (UK residency

requirements apply)

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
