The opportunity

We are looking for an exceptional General Manager to lead the pre-opening and launch of St. Stephen’s Green Hotel, a 131-bedroom property in one of Dublin’s most prestigious locations.

Combining a contemporary new-build with the conversion of Nos. 92 and 93 St. Stephen’s Green, the hotel is being designed by Suzie McAdam Design. It will bring together architectural heritage, contemporary interiors and a distinctive sense of place—creating a premium lifestyle hotel with authentic Dublin character, international service standards and a relaxed, personal feel.

This is a rare opportunity for a commercially astute hotel leader to shape a new operation from the final pre-opening stages, build an outstanding team and establish a hotel that appeals to visitors and locals alike.

About the role

What you’ll lead

• The successful pre-opening, launch and ongoing operation of the hotel.
• A distinctive guest experience that brings the hotel’s design, heritage and Dublin identity to life.
• Commercial strategy, revenue growth, annual budgets and profitability.
• A high-performing leadership team and a positive, accountable workplace culture.
• Consistent operational standards, compliance, governance and protection of hotel assets.
• Strong relationships with corporate clients, tourism partners, local businesses and the wider Dublin hospitality community.

What you’ll bring

• At least five years’ experience as a General Manager or senior hotel leader in a four- or five-star environment.
• A proven record in premium, upper-upscale or lifestyle hotel operations; pre-opening experience is highly desirable.
• Strong commercial judgement, financial literacy and experience managing significant hotel budgets.
• A confident, engaging leadership style and the ability to recruit, develop and inspire a strong team.
• An appreciation for architecture, design, contemporary hospitality and authentic Irish service.
• A good understanding of Dublin’s hotel market and the ability to build lasting local and commercial partnerships.

The role reports to the Regional General Manager. Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Ireland and able to commit to the long-term development of the hotel.
