Pharmacy Assistant

Join the friendly team at Allied Pharmacy in Rhiwbina as a Pharmacy Assistant, where you'll play an important part in supporting the day-to-day running of a busy community pharmacy. This is a rewarding opportunity to help deliver a safe, efficient and caring service to the local community, while developing your knowledge and skills in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist with the accurate dispensing of prescriptions under the supervision of the pharmacist
• Provide a warm, professional welcome to patients and customers at the counter
• Offer advice on over-the-counter medicines and healthcare products within your scope of training
• Manage stock, including ordering, receiving deliveries, rotating items and checking expiry dates
• Maintain accurate records and ensure the pharmacy remains clean, tidy and compliant
• Support wider pharmacy services and work collaboratively with the rest of the team

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience in a community pharmacy is desirable, though full training can be provided
• A recognised dispensing or pharmacy assistant qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
• Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for helping people
• A reliable, organised and detail-focused approach to your work
• The ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• A positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn
