Senior Project Manager Construction

Senior Project Manager | Derby | £85K–£95K + Car Allowance + Package

Build something significant. Secure your future. Be part of a region going places.

We're recruiting a Senior Project Manager for a major Tier 1 main contractor, offering the chance to lead a substantial construction project in Derby while joining a business with serious financial strength and ambitious growth plans.

Here's what caught my attention about this opportunity: the Midlands division is forecast to double in size over the next three years. Combine that with one of the most cash-rich businesses in UK construction, and you've got the foundations for both long-term stability and genuine career progression.

And because this division operates exclusively across the Midlands, you won't be expected to travel all over the country to keep your career moving forward.

Your Next Challenge

You'll take a senior leadership role on a major construction scheme in Derby, overseeing project delivery, leading the wider team and ensuring programme, quality, commercial and safety targets are achieved.

I'm looking for someone who can take ownership, make decisions with confidence and bring the best out of the people around them.

Why Consider This Move?

Financial security: Join a highly cash-rich Tier 1 contractor with substantial financial resources behind it.

A regional focus: Build your career across the Midlands without being relocated around the UK.

Room to move up: With the regional business targeting significant expansion over the next three years,

this is an opportunity to establish yourself before the next phase of growth.

A senior-level challenge: Take responsibility for a major project and demonstrate what you can deliver.

What You'll Bring

A strong track record delivering large-scale construction projects for a main contractor.

Previous experience in a Senior Project Manager role, or the capability to step up.

The leadership skills to manage complex projects, multiple stakeholders and sizeable delivery teams.

A proactive approach to programme, quality, commercial performance and health and safety.

The Package

£85,000–£95,000 salary, alongside the opportunity to join a financially robust contractor with an expanding Midlands operation and real potential for future advancement.
