Our client, a prominent player in the Technology market, is seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to join their team in Amsterdam. As an award winning global business, have built an excellent reputation in recruitment industry.

The Role:

You’ll join a team of 80 in Amsterdam and work closely with the company’s Directors to build new client accounts and expand their existing portfolio.

The successful candidate will be focused on tactically and strategically growing our clients contract recruitment business within the Dutch Technology market. You will spearhead initiatives by identifying, investigating, and capitalising on potential new secondment & interim recruitment projects.

With a designated Delivery team, you’ll have experienced support who will source high calibre candidates, allowing you to focus on client relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Investigate the local commercial market to identify and pursue strategic growth opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong rapport with both new and existing clients, developing lasting partnerships.
• Leverage the company’s established portfolio to grow accounts tactically and strategically.
• Lead discussions with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements are achieved.
• Manage tender negotiations with customers
• Work closely with internal Delivery team to align business development strategies with company goals.
• Regularly visit clients across the Netherlands to strengthen relationships and explore opportunities.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years recruitment experience in a 360 agency capacity, preferably within the contract market.
• Proven track record as a true Headhunter with exceptional business development capabilities.
• Must speak a fluent/ native level of Dutch & English.
• Strong interpersonal skills - sales-driven, customer-oriented, self-starting, independent, connecting and proactive.
• Experience in negotiating contracts and managing client expectations effectively.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to adapt to evolving market conditions.
• Clear, achievable progression pathway to Director level positions.
• Collaborative and energised workplace with a mature approach to working.
