Senior Procurement Specialist

An opportunity is available for a Senior Procurement Specialist in the NHFM Contracting team. Applications are invited from experienced Procurement Specialists, fully MCIPS qualified.

The post holder will lead on strategic and complex procurement, predominately in the IT/Digital Services and Corporate portfolios, working with senior stakeholders.

Leading a team of procurement specialists undertaking procurement activity to deliver the procurement work plan.

This role will work simultaneously across multiple stakeholder business units providing specialist procurement and commercial advice and guidance, and to lead a team of procurement specialists undertaking procurement activity to deliver the cost reduction programmes/commercial programmes across the Trust and its subsidiaries.

Undertaking Strategic and Complex procurement, including above threshold projects under the Procurement Act 2023 and Procurement Regulations 2024, involvement in collaborative opportunities on behalf of the wider Alliance.

Management of the procurement work plan, providing day to day performance management, supervision and development of a team of procurement specialists

Represent the Contracting Team at Business Unit/Senior Stakeholder Forums and at wider Alliance and Regional meetings, as required.
