Milton Keynes (Fully onsite)

£550 - £600 per day DOE (Inside IR35/Umbrella)

Initial 18 month contract

Are you a DV cleared Software Engineer with strong Python and Linux experience?

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team developing software for complex engineering systems.

This is a predominantly greenfield development role, with involvement from initial design through integration, testing and deployment.

The Role:

• Design, develop and support secure, reliable software applications and services.
• Build data-processing, analytics and automation capabilities.
• Integrate software with hardware and wider technical systems.
• Contribute to architecture, testing and deployment.
• Provide technical guidance and support other engineers.

The Person:

• Strong hands-on software development experience using Python and Linux.
• Experience in systems integration and complex data processing.
• Experience taking software from initial development through to deployment.
• Experience with technologies such as C/C++, Docker, Ansible and SQL databases.
• Knowledge of secure development practices and software testing.
• Current DV clearance is essential.
