Lunchtime Supervisor - Childcare Experience

Aspire People are looking for a caring and reliable Lunchtime Supervisor to support pupils within a primary school in North Manchester.

This role would suit someone with previous experience working with children through schools, nurseries, childcare settings, clubs or similar environments.

The Role:

• Supervising children during lunchtime
• Supporting pupils during indoor and outdoor play
• Encouraging positive social interaction
• Supporting children to develop independence
• Helping maintain a calm and safe lunchtime environment
• Promoting positive behaviour and good manners
• Supporting children who may need additional help
• Monitoring pupils and reporting concerns to school staff
• Working collaboratively with teachers and other lunchtime staff

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience working with children in a school, nursery, childcare or similar setting
• Early Years experience would be advantageous
• Patient, nurturing and approachable
• Confident managing groups of children
• Able to respond calmly to behavioural situations
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable and professional
• Strong understanding of safeguarding

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 11:20am - 1:20pm
• 10 hours per week
• Starting November
• Role continuing until the end of the academic year
