Social Housing Repairs Supervisor – North London

Salary: £43,000 – £47,000 per annum

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Social Housing Repairs Supervisor to oversee responsive repairs and property maintenance across a residential housing portfolio in North London. You will manage operatives and subcontractors, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard while delivering excellent customer service to residents.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily responsive repairs and maintenance across social housing properties.

Manage multi-trade operatives and subcontractors.

Allocate workloads and ensure repairs meet agreed SLAs.

Carry out site visits, property inspections and post-inspections.

Monitor productivity, workmanship and first-time fix rates.

Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and company procedures.

Liaise with tenants and residents to resolve issues and provide updates.

Coordinate follow-on works, materials and specialist contractors.

Investigate defects, poor workmanship and customer complaints.

Work with planners and contract managers to achieve contractual KPIs.

Maintain accurate job records, work orders and inspection reports.

Monitor performance and report progress to senior management.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Repairs Supervisor or Maintenance Supervisor.

Background in social housing or property maintenance.

Knowledge of responsive repairs and general building maintenance.

Experience managing tradespeople and subcontractors.

Good understanding of health and safety

requirements.

Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.

Full UK driving licence.
