Support Worker

Key Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support with daily living activities and personal care.
• Support individuals with mental health needs and learning disabilities.
• Administer medication safely in accordance with prescribed instructions, training and organisational policies.
• Assist with meals, mobility, hygiene and daily routines as required.
• Promote independence, dignity, choice and social inclusion.
• Monitor and report changes in individuals' health and wellbeing.
• Maintain accurate care records and medication administration records.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety, infection control and confidentiality procedures.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and other healthcare professionals.

Mandatory Requirements

• Valid Right to Work (RTW) in the UK.
• Care Certificate.
• Mental Health Awareness training/certificate.
• Learning Disabilities Awareness training/certificate.
• Medication Administration training/certificate and proven competency.
• Enhanced DBS certificate with the Update Service subscription.
• Previous experience in a relevant health and social care role is preferred.
• Good communication skills and a compassionate, professional attitude.
• Preffered White British Citizen
