Lead Qt/QML Developer

We are looking for an experienced Lead Qt/QML Developer to join our international team. At Spyrosoft Synergy, we work on a range of projects spanning both desktop and embedded domains, giving engineers the opportunity to contribute to different types of products and technical ch allenges. Depending on the project, you may work on large-scale desktop applications used globally or advanced embedded solutions built with Qt, QML, and modern C++ . In this role, you will contribute to the development of high-quality software, influence architectural decisions, and support other engineers in delivering robust and scalable solutions.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of commercial experience in software development

• Strong commercial experience with C++ (including modern C++)

• Experience developing desktop and/or embedded applications using Qt and QML.

• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, architecture, and design patterns

• Experience working with large codebases and long-term software projects as well as smaller and more agile ones

• Familiarity with version control systems, code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD practices

• Ability to work independently and effectively manage priorities

• Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate in an international environment

• English proficiency at C1 level (written and spoken)

Nice to have:

• Experience with Windows, macOS and/or Linux development environments

• Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies

• Experience supporting technical decisions and leading development teams

• Experience with Proof of Concept initiatives

• Python programming skills

• Docker knowledge

• Experienced in using AI tools in day-to-day workflow

Main responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain desktop or embedded applications using Qt/QML and modern C++

• Collaborate with product teams and stakeholders to define and deliver new features

• Drive architectural and technical decisions

• Ensure high code quality through code reviews, testing, and continuous integration practices

• Support and mentor other developers

• Contribute to maintaining and evolving a large, established codebase

• Work independently and take ownership of delivered solutions

• Participate in Agile development processes
