Vehicle Technician

The Role:

Silcom Recruitment are pleased to be supporting a valued client based in Basingstoke, who are looking to appoint a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their growing workshop team.

Opportunities are available across multiple levels, including Service Technicians, Vehicle Technicians, and Master Technicians.

Responsibilities &

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician

Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs in line with manufacturer standards.

Diagnose faults and complete vehicle health checks to identify additional work.

Ensure all work is completed efficiently, to a high standard, and documented accurately.

Previous experience within a dealership or independent garage environment is advantageous.

NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair required for most roles (NVQ Level 2 suitable for Service Technician positions).

A valid UK driving licence is essential.

The Package:

Salary: Up to £35,000 basic (depending on experience and qaulifications) OTE £45,000+ uncapped!

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am-5:30pm - No Weekends!
