About the role

As a Support Worker in our Extra Care Scheme you will be supporting the elderly who are finding it difficult to cope due to physical frailty, enabling them to maintain their individuality and vital independence. You’ll help the people we support - who can often have have restricted mobility - to move to dining areas at meal times, communal areas for social activities and to the privacy of their bedrooms and bathrooms at their request.

You’ll help them with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene and dressing – this will mean you’ll understand the importance of privacy and dignity – so important to everyone. You will have the opportunity to take part in physical and mental stimulation by being a part of the recreational and social activities with the people we support, and as a group.

And always with a kind smile and a supportive word, even when sometimes a day is challenging!

Benefits for the Role

Week 1 Thursday, Saturday and Sunday 19:45pm to 08:00am

Week 2 Monday, Thursday and Friday 19:45pm to 08:00am

Pay Rates:

Nights £13.90 per hour

• In-depth online & Office based training
• Mileage Allowance for Cars & Bikes
• Paid Shadowing in the field
• You get paid by BACS every 4 weeks
• Refer a friend payment (Unlimited Payments) Subject to conditions
• We will pay for mandatory refresher training
