Rate of pay: £14.67 per hour

Hours: 16 hours per week

Days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday

Times: 5.00pm-9.00pm

About me

I am a female who is bed bound and has complex healthcare needs, including diabetes and POTS. I describe myself as quite fragile and I am looking for an experienced and reliable Personal Assistant who can provide the physical and practical support I need in my own home. I have a liquid diet and require support with personal care, dressing, medication, household tasks and running errands.

About the role Your duties will include:

• Supporting me with personal care and dressing
• Safe administration of medication
• Meal preparation and support with my liquid diet
• Domestic tasks and general household chores
• Running errands on my behalf
• Moving and handling
• Supporting me to remain as independent as possible

About you I am looking for someone who is:

• Mature and experienced
• Trustworthy and reliable
• An excellent timekeeper
• Confident with personal care and practical household tasks
• Fully flexible and willing to provide additional cover when required
• Able to cover other members of my care team during annual leave and sickness
• Happy to take a flexible, give-and-take approach as part of my care team
• Up to date with COVID vaccinations, or willing to obtain these
• A driver with their own vehicle – essential

Flexibility is particularly important to me. I need someone who can reliably work the contracted hours, but who is also willing and able to provide additional cover when other members of my care team are on annual leave or absent due to sickness . For the right person, there may also be an opportunity to progress to a Team Lead role .

• Tuesday: 5.00pm-9.00pm
• Thursday: 5.00pm-9.00pm
• Friday: 5.00pm-9.00pm
